Monday was a bit disastrous.I know it's Thursday today but it's taken three days to recover.
I went to the usual Monday morning class and then on to my afternoon class where I was met with,
" Where were you ?"
"Well I've been to aerobics, had a shower and then a bite to eat- Why?"
"You were supposed to meet us for lunch at Pablos at 12 o'clock"
I had completely forgotten !
Next I amassed wool, glue,hessian, pipe cleaners, needles, thread and other bits and pieces to make a sheep at Spinning Guild that evening.As we were having tea , I said to R.
"What's the date?"
"6th July "
"Oh, no! It's not Spinning Guild tonight. It's next Monday ! "
Are these signs of time marching on? Have always known where I was supposed to be and when--found it quite shocking and frightening to be making mistakes like these. Have resolved to be more mindful in future. There was no sympathy from R. All I got was
"It's that computer again-- you're obsessed with it"
Never mind I suppose it could have been worse.The computer might have crashed or I could have forgotten where I stashed my chocolates.

Tee hee! Not just me this happens to then.
An old fashioned paper calendar by the computer that you cross days off on should sort you out! you can glance at it while waiting for the Apple to boot up, or an internet page to load.
I use a computer a lot, but would never switch to a computer diary as my little book-diary and the calendar work during power cuts and without booting up :)
Poor Barbara, but you're so right, a crashed computer would be a lot worse for us addicts! I use an agenda, because I have no idea what I'm doing tomorrow until I check it!
I live by my month-at-a-glance calendar. Though during our move it was packed away and I was ALWAYS asking what day it was. I don't think it's old age, Barbara! You have a very active life :-)
